One Day Closer...

How did I manage to fine the spot in the dining hall right next to the (legitimately) crazy guy talking outloud to his PSP while he plays what seems to be... Pokemon? Anyways.

Life has been a whirlwind recently. Like an amazing whirlwind. An amazingly BUSY whirlwind...I don't know how it happened, but it is the end of my first year at Washington State University :'(

BUT. Before we get to all these big things coming up in my life, let's back up to some awesome things that have already happened since my last post...

School

School has been going pretty well. Honestly, this has been such a huge huge blessing. I will be the first to admit, I have been slightly distracted when it came to school recently, but I have really managed to stay on top of things. I am 100% convinced that I could not do it on my own, and I know that it is only with the support of friends, family, and of course my Heavenly Father that I have been able to keep on top of it all, in spite of it all :)

Family

Unfortunately, one of these distractions was the recent passing of my wonderfully AMAZING Grandma. In light of a few other recent events, my family has become of greater and greater importance to me, and it was both surprising and extremely sad when I heard the news that my Grandma had passed away. I feel like I have so much to tell her and so many things that I wish she could be here for, but luckily for me, I know she isn't far away at all and she probably knows more about what's going on in my life then my own parents! Again, I am blessed to know that the plan of salvation is real and that families are forever. I cannot wait to meet her again someday :)

Friends

I cannot say enough how grateful I have been for such amazing friends. I have never met such amazing people in my whole life, and my life has been forever changed by them. Whether I lock my keys in my car and need a lift to go get my spare, or I just need some time to unwind, they are always there, 100%. I know I can call several people at any time of the day (or night) and without hesitation they would be there for me. My friends here have truly become my family in a way I never thought possible! I love them all dearly!

Church

Church has been super amazing recently. Not only because I get to sit next to this stud of a returned missionary in sacrament meeting :P But because I have been able to work so closely with the missionaries and new members of the ward. You can imagine how sad I was when I was released from all my callings :( Okay okay, I know it pretty much had to happen because I will not be in town over the summer, but how I LOVED those callings (Ward Missionary and FHE Coordinator). Luckily for me, the bishop told me he already had a calling in mind for me when I got back in August. I cannot wait for that, I love my ward, and I love callings even more!

Alright. Well I hinted at some things (that are fast approaching) in my life...here they are!

Finals

Oh baby, finals week. I just finished my most difficult final this morning, so I feel like I can kind of breathe a little bit. My other finals are actually just regular test length and shouldn't be too difficult. Only 3 more to go!

Moving

THIS ONE MAKES ME THE SADDEST OF ALL. I haven't cried much yet. But I haven't thought of it much yet. But I am leaving Pullman. And Pullman makes my heart happier than it has ever been before. I cannot believe how fast this year has gone, and I cannot believe how much my life has been completely changed. There is no doubt in my mind that I was supposed to come to WSU now, so it makes me so sad to have to leave! I am just leaving for the summer, and I will be working tons, and everything will be completely fine, and I will be back before I know it (and all those other little things people say to make it not seem as bad), but for reals, Pullman makes my heart come alive! I will be so excited to be back :')

Marathon

Surprise! Haven't really talked about my training as much on this one, mostly because it feels super natural this time and not as difficult as training for my 1/2 marathon was, but I am running my marathon on MAY 5th! It is coming up so soon...5ish days! Amazinggg. I cannot wait to give an update about that :)

So Yea. This is a small little bit of my amazing life that I love so so so much! Good luck to everyone else on finals! Summer 2012, bring it on!

My Favorite Things...

Life has been crazy awesome lately! School (and life) seems to be going by so quick, but I am just loving every minute of it :) I know things get rough sometimes, so how could I not just take a moment to appreciate all that I have?

It was a little windy...but the family (minus Hillary and Nick) got together for Easter.  We got a few cute pictures, but this one just makes me laugh :)

I love love love love Easter! After coloring eggs the night before, my family and I watched the Life of Christ  bible videos. Always nice to remember the reason for all the chocolate ;)

My good friend from my hometown highlighted my hair this past weekend! She just finished beauty school in January  recently landed a great job doing what she loves! She is amazing, people! If you ever need a little cut or color, Alyssa Garding is your girl!

Also joining the Pulsipher family for Easter was Derek!  We drove up from Pullman with his younger brother on Friday, met some of his family, and he met some of mine. He is basically the most amazing guy you will ever meet. That is all. ;)

I love this little commercial. So hardcore! I have just really been enjoying getting out there and working out when I can. I think its just so much fun! I must be going crazy...but for reals, I love this

Best wishes :)
